I got to do another senior photoshoot recently. I think they turned out great!
And one of the sisters, for good measure!
This year I was able to go see the Highland Games in Warrensburg, Missouri, or as they call it “Highlands in the Burg.” I had never been to a Highland Games event before, and it was really impressive seeing what they could do! Above is the Sheaf Toss.
This is a baby Highland Cow. It was super adorable, and fluffy like a dog! I wanted to take it home with me.
Some of the clans brought weapons. I enjoyed this Lord of the Rings inspired sword.
He has his own dragon!
There was also live music at the event.
Women competed, too! This is the Stone Put.

And finally, a parade! Always awesome to see someone playing the bagpipes.
This family was so much fun to work with! They had some really great ideas and weren’t afraid to be a little goofy. Love working with people like that! This is their family mustache portrait.
Their daughter was turning sixteen, so they thought of this idea and used the photos for their Christmas card! Too funny! I was glad to take part in their hijinks.
This is my (almost) nephew, Grayson! I did a one year photoshoot when he turned one in September. He had a cowboy themed party, so here’s him with his cowboy hat!
I think he looks like a fashion model in this one!
And of course him playing with his gun!
Finally we’ve come to the last photos of my trip to Ohio! This is why we took our trip: to attend Blessing of the Bikes in Dayton, Ohio! There were bikes almost as far as the eye could see.
Click the panorama to see it bigger. It’s sad that you don’t really get the full effect on a computer screen, though. All of those little dots are people and motorcycles! Wow!
I have more photos to share from my trip to Ohio last May! After the Civil War reenactment, we went out to Young’s Jersey Dairy. They have goats, cows, minigolf, great food, and best of all some amazing icecream!
Of course, being me, I had to get lots of photos of the cute animals! Hehe. If you’re ever in the area I’d definitely recommend going! It was a great time!
